I did Envy a day early this week, as it’s a long weekend, though I really wasn’t in the mood at first, and the pub started out quite quiet. But I got into it fairly quickly and it was nice to play a more chilled-out set until the second half of the night, when the pub was really busy, I was getting showered with compliments from the blokes and attempted snogs from the laydeez (no, really!). Bizarrely, two separate people both requested the obscure Aphex Twin track that I played right at the end.
